Clean, quiet neighborhood, swimming pool, lovely outdoor area to relax. Katia recommended a local restaurant that was fabulous, breakfast was lovely, all in all a lovely stay and an opportunity to see a more authentic part of Sicily. Yes, you need a car; we like to get out of the tourist centers so a car gives you that opportunity, and Katia’s place is only 15 minutes from the heart of Trapani. Liked everything, very good.

Beautifully designed hostel with a pool in a quiet location. Before the house, there were large dogs; they didn’t do anything, but you just didn’t know.

The camera was silent, but the breakfast was just boxed items with little variety, and when we arrived a pack of barking dogs greeted us—harmless, yet not a great first impression. The shower drain was clogged, and a nasty little pool of water formed in the shower tray.

The outdoor dining and recreation area, plus the pool’s proximity to the airport, Trapani, and other sights, were nice. However, a resident dog on the premises, no poop patrol, and an unpleasant smell around the pool were issues, and the room had no window.
