The location is close to the Vatican, but I didn’t expect a five‑star hotel to be anything special.

The view was great, but the air‑conditioning only worked for the first 10 minutes before it stopped cooling, leaving us sweltering and unable to sleep at night. We never had a crib ready; it arrived on the last night after we kept writing to the owner, and he never sent us the damage deposit back. Also, there was no kettle.

The location and the shared kitchen area were well managed, but the bathroom was cramped and the elevator wouldn’t fit a stroller unless it’s in a closed‑wheel configuration.
