The place sat in a gorgeous spot, the room itself was plain but the vistas compensated, the staff were welcoming, and there was an on‑site restaurant. Thai mattresses are usually stiff, but this one felt firm; I tried sleeping on top of the folded duvet to ease the ache, which helped only a bit.

The ambience and friendly service were pleasant. For first‑time visitors, reaching the property via Google Maps can be tricky because the road is muddy and the entrance lacks a resort sign; following the path to Phra That Pa Son Kaew is recommended.

The location is superb, just a 2‑minute drive to the main highways. Across the street lies a stunning mountaintop temple, and the road up offers its own spectacular journey with breathtaking views. The people running the resort are some of the kindest I’ve met in all of Siam. The attached restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices. The owner even gave me a ride to the nearest bus station, a 45‑minute trip, and helped me navigate to the next town. Thank you all!
