I was blown away by how instantly homely this place felt; the lush surroundings, the huge room, and the private outdoor onsen were all incredible, and there were no negatives at all.

We stayed in a great two‑bedroom suite with amazing onsens, enjoyed the charming walkable town and scenic hotel setting, had a modest breakfast, and found the lounge areas comfortable and atmospheric, wishing we could have stayed more than one night.
