“comfortable and really well-located place”

It was a great little base for exploring Sintra: the location was quiet yet close to restaurants and just about 10 minutes from the train station, making travel convenient; breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a comfortable and well‑located place if you plan to spend your days exploring Sintra. The room itself was tiny and a bit awkward in terms of space, and there was a hole under one of the floorboards that kept catching my foot, but otherwise it was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay.

We stayed for the night; the place was welcoming and clean, with excellent breakfast. It’s a good location for those with a car, though parking is paid in the area. I note the immediate proximity to a “tasca” where you can eat well at honest prices. The rooms are slightly small, suitable for short stays.

“Klein aber fein”

The check‑in and check‑out were comfortable, the breakfast room was very pleasant with a great honesty bar, the beds were comfortable, the shower was large, and the breakfast was the best we had in Portugal.

The location is great, free parking nearby, a friendly and helpful receptionist, and the room offers a view of Palácio da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros. The room itself wasn’t very clean, as you can see from the photos, it smelled damp and the floor was all raised.

“If I ever go back to Sintra, I'd definitely stay there again! The staff made the day truly special!”

We loved the breakfast, with fresh chopped fruits, natural yogurt, a sweet and salty assortment, and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm pancakes and the morning cake. We loved that! Thank you so much!
