The location over the bay is unbeatable, with a great view from the garden and the hotel room, but that’s where it ends… It’s a typical Mercure hotel that I’ve had to stay in for business now and then, an aging concrete block with 80s‑era room furnishings, little atmosphere, a cafeteria‑style breakfast room, and an onsen that feels more like a hall‑bath… We stayed for a bit and then quickly looked for somewhere else.

The onsen was nice! The place is very, very old and needs renovation; the rugs in the room are old, and the furniture is old.

Great location, Japanese‑style room, slept wonderfully on the futon mattresses, the buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the many hotel facilities are a reason to choose this hotel.
