The hotel sits right in an old village, so it’s super quiet and just steps away from Qixia Ancient Road—perfect if you want to get up early and hit the trails. The road itself offers a bunch of routes that are pretty demanding, which I’d definitely recommend to fellow hikers. The only downside was the bed; it felt overly soft and the pillows were way too high for my liking.

The staff are friendly and clearly passionate about the area, making the whole stay feel personal and memorable. If I had to nitpick, a bit more scent in the rooms would have made it perfect.
