Located in Hunedoara, VILA Corviniana sits 200 m from the historic Corvinilor Castle and beside the Cerna River. Rooms feature air‑conditioning, flat‑screen cable TV, en‑suite bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, hairdryers, free toiletries, and some offer balconies with castle views. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, on‑site restaurant and grocery shop, private parking, and easy access to a bus stop (50 m) and the train station (1 km).

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was nice. However, I expected a higher standard for a 4‑star unit; the walls had cracks and visible repairs, and I found a fairly large spider in the room that evening. The minibar and safe were missing. Overall it was a decent experience, but a few improvements and investments are needed to bring the standard in line with the 4‑star category.

I liked many things. This is the second time I visit this place after ten years. The hosts and staff are excellent! The food is very good, the breakfast is abundant and varied, the rooms are spacious and clean. The fact that those who should approve the renovation works (since it is a historic building) are not moving faster puts the owners in difficulty, as they cannot replace the windows, and the noise is the cause of some guests' dissatisfaction. The building has no lift and the stairs are a challenge for people over 60, especially if you go up and down many times in a day.

The location is extremely clean and intimate. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant food is excellent—score 10. We will gladly return.
