Very loud surrounding street with heavy truck traffic. With the windows open at night, sleep was very disturbed and restless. We had already stayed 16 times in Bavaria. The authentic Bavarian coziness and the feeling of being welcomed were missing. We had already enjoyed lovingly arranged breakfast buffets.

Breakfast: the mirrored and scrambled eggs were freshly prepared. The outdoor areas were poorly maintained; spider webs in the bathroom had not been removed for a week. The fly screen on the main entrance door to the restaurant/hotel was patched with tape. Whole clumps of hair from animals were on the terrace seat cushions. Only one multi‑plug outlet was available in the bike garage, so you’d need to bring a cable reel if you have two e‑bikes.

The welcome was warm, the large room was beautiful and modern, everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was generous and offered a bit of everything. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty and recommended. The location is good with a nice view of the Chiemsee, plenty of parking, and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom lighting was too dim for my taste.
