“Einfach aber gut, das Zimmer 7 in den Hinterhof ist sehr ruhig”
The location is great, right opposite the train station and 15 minutes on foot to the city center. I was disappointed that the room only had milk and sugar for coffee and the washable or freshly washed shower mat – that little plastic rug looked unhygienic.

The place is well located, clean, the breakfast is good and the owners are fantastic. The bed was in the hardest layer and an AC would have been nice.
A very nice place, absolutely central, the train station doesn’t bother. Lovely host with great service 😊🌞

The spot “Zum weißen Haus” is very convenient, everything is within walking distance. The room was fine. A big terrace on the same floor as our room was very useful because it was hot in the room and we could cool off a bit. It was great that there was a fridge with drinks next to the terrace door. We had breakfast at the café across from the station instead. The breakfast there was cheaper and very tasty. In the hotel it would have been more expensive and we’d have had to specify the breakfast times beforehand, which was too cumbersome. Another downside was that the hotel’s front door was always closed and the bell was broken, so we had to keep the huge room key with us all the time. The room wasn’t cleaned until after the third day, with no prior arrangement, which I found a bit odd.

The stay was a complete success at this wonderful guesthouse. It’s by the train station, the city center is just a few minutes’ walk along the lovely Pfaffenteich, and it’s wonderfully quiet. The parking spots in the courtyard are a big plus, safely behind a gate. The owner is extremely friendly, helpful, and supportive, and she serves a delicious, extensive breakfast that’s sustainably sourced and tailored to personal preferences. The breakfast held in the courtyard on nice weather feels like a romantic start to the day. Cleanliness is excellent and the shower is superb. The guesthouse also has a larger roof terrace where you can sit comfortably, especially in the evenings when temperatures rise. Affordable drinks are always available, and the limited number of rooms makes the stay especially pleasant. The attention to detail shows the owners truly care about guest wellbeing. We’ll definitely come back. Absolutely nothing to complain about!
