“Un hôtel plein de personnalité sur Queen Street West”

I really liked the vibe at Drake: an original, stylish, creative hotel that feels very different from the usual standardized ones. The design works, with plenty of personality and interesting details. I stayed in a King room in the Modern Wing, which was contemporary and pleasant. The location on Queen Street West is also great. The main flaw of my room was the lack of a proper wardrobe or closet for clothes. There was a iron and a board, but very little practical space to hang and organize things. For two nights that’s acceptable, but for a longer stay it would be noticeably less convenient.

“Will def stay again.”

It’s a cool spot with a great on‑site bar, and the location is unbelievable—right in the best part of Toronto with easy public transport access. The rooms are really nice and the staff are very friendly. They do host frequent events, but that didn’t bother us.

“You are paying because it’s trendy.”

The location is great, with onsite events like trivia, a dance party, and a BBQ on the patio, all of which are pluses. The food and drinks are also good. The room was exceptionally small, breakfast wasn’t included, and many items were broken (the pack‑and‑play, the wireless light, and the makeup mirror didn’t stay up). For the price, the experience didn’t match; it was very overpriced and the rooms are tiny.

“The hotel and staf were great but the cost was very high and there was no parking which made it incredibly inconvenient.”

The place is in a great spot and the décor feels very funky, but it’s so pricey and there’s no parking available.
