“Good value for money”

The room is very basic, suitable for those who need a place to stay before heading to the airport, or for travelers who only need a place to sleep and shower without expecting much else. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is 3 minutes from Roma Termini, Rome’s main train station, with direct connections to the airport and other cities. Free luggage storage is available if you arrive early or need to leave your luggage after check‑out: Hotel Chicago is a few minutes of walking distance from Adora.

“Prima verblijf voor een paar dagen Rome.”

No breakfast, but the location was perfect – just a 3‑minute walk from Termini. The room had tea and coffee with a kettle, but we couldn’t use the coffee because instead of a sachet of instant coffee there were a few pads. ;)

The place was spotless, the staff were super attentive, and the breakfast was great. Nothing to complain about.

“Very run down old unsafe neighborhood near the train station”

The hotel photos were very misleading; the area was run‑down, with people out all night yelling and drinking. There was no sign showing we were staying at a hotel, and the neighborhood looked shabby. I would never have stayed there with my family. The manager was friendly and helpful, but if I hadn’t paid in advance we would have looked for a safer spot. We didn’t leave once we arrived because we feared for our safety. The location didn’t match the pictures, the room was very basic and not as shown, and it felt like a 1.5‑star place.
