The rooms are very basic, some have air‑conditioning and some don’t, but it’s a very affordable way to stay in the area. The family is sweet, and their home temple is beautiful. It took a while before someone arrived to check us in, but once we were in our rooms, everything was fine.

I had a really pleasant stay here while I was near Ubud. The room was very clean and well maintained, with hot water, good air conditioning, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host family was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location is also very convenient — peaceful and away from the busy center, but only around 10 minutes from Ubud by scooter. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic stay near Ubud.

“Enjoyable & Tranquil Stay”

Jero and her family were very welcoming. The service and attention to any request was exceptional. Very useful to have a large shared fridge to keep drinks cool and food stored. The location was perfect if you want to be close to a Kenyan resort and beautiful nature. The bed is perhaps a little too big for the room but for the price you cannot complain.

It was exactly what we wanted: a quiet spot, a friendly host, a family vibe, and good value. No luxury, but perfect for exploring temples and the area without hassle. A small warung just around the corner served delicious food, and we had air‑conditioning.
