The place feels just like a real home, with Sol taking care of everything and the owner treating you like an old friend, even giving route tips for safety. Breakfast is generous and you can ask Sol to whip up scrambled, boiled or fried eggs on the spot. The spot is handy – we hit Casca Dantas in the morning and then checked in at Vargem Bonita, which was a lot closer than heading to São Roque de Minas, and the award‑winning cheese shop is a short walk away.
