Excellent hotel in central Almaty; I’ve been here twice now and the price‑quality ratio is great, usually around 3 000 rubles per person as of September 26. The only small issues were that slippers and a free hair dryer could have been provided.

The location is good and the room was decent for the stay. However, no water or fan was supplied, which I think is a basic necessity. At least one or two bottled water per day would have sufficed.

At Tahar Hotel everything was great: central location, close to the train station, cafés and shops all within walking distance. The staff were responsive and polite, and the accommodation itself was very convenient, with check‑in starting from the moment you arrive, so there’s no fixed time like in other hotels. Everything was liked.
