The location is great, the staff are lovely and very helpful, the restaurant is very good, breakfast is good, rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They wanted us to have a great time and we did. Nothing negative.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When the small, quiet village is flooded with up to three buses in the evening for dinner, there is little space or quiet for the hotel guests. This situation is unexpected and does not match the advertising, and a large bus company at breakfast only makes it worse. We did not expect this.

The place sits in a perfect spot for visiting the Plitvice Lakes, and if you book Entrance 1 tickets online ahead of time, you can use the nearby side entrance, which is about a 5‑minute walk. Planning two full days for the park (three nights) is definitely worthwhile. Our room was practical and offered plenty of storage for travel gear, and the large double bed let us sleep comfortably. The blinds can be closed at night to darken the room. During our stay, especially in the evenings, it was noticeably cold, but the bathroom heater was turned on and that was very soothing. In the dining area you had to pick inexpensive seats for breakfast and dinner and dress a bit warmer. The simple breakfast gave a good start to the day, and the dinner menu was clear and the dishes tasted good. The daily room service was very pleasant. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful in every way, and we felt at ease. The only downside was that the AC unit’s heating function in the room cannot be activated independently as advertised; the preset settings are device‑side.
