The property is outside the city, in a stunning and secluded spot. The staff, who were available and friendly, suggested walking routes and how to watch the sunrise, even giving us torches for the evenings. The kitchen was excellent; we recommend the rice and noodles. It’s the perfect place to unwind.

The spot sits on a hill just outside Xing Ping – not a walk away, but a quick 10‑minute drive. The owner actually drove us there every day for free, so we never wasted time. The karst mountains around are even more impressive than in Yangshou, and the rooms are pretty clean and cozy. The food was all freshly cooked and really tasty.

The host is the sweetest – feels like a family guesthouse where everyone chats. The place is high above the town, perfect for a sunrise hike to Damianshan. It’s in the middle of an orchard, so flies are a thing, but they’re not a problem once the evening cools down.

The owner was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. There isn’t much around except the beautiful walks she showed us. The location is amazing, tucked into nature and quiet (except for the crickets).

Even though it’s far from the town, the place is gorgeous with a crazy view – we loved it. You need a car to get around, but the owner was always happy to drive us to the center in the morning and back to the guesthouse at night, so we had no trouble. It’s a great launchpad for nearby mountain hikes; we caught a fantastic sunrise. I’d definitely come back. Just don’t expect hotel‑style services – it’s a real, enjoyable experience.
