The chateau is beautifully decorated and the reception is welcoming; Guus and Irene go out of their way to make guests comfortable, from a well-arranged breakfast in the dining room to a fully stocked honesty bar and, if desired, a dinner with everything included. Ask about the chateau’s history for lovely stories. Keep in mind that restaurants are usually only open for lunch and the supermarket is a distance away. The surroundings are gorgeous and it’s a pleasure for the dog to play on the property and swim in the lake.
