The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Lüneberg's Old Town and main market square. Rooms feature traditional-style and modern furniture, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and garden views. The hotel provides bicycle storage and is near the Lüneberg town hall, ideal for cycling and hiking tours.

The staff were friendly, the rooms offered plenty of space, the bathroom was acceptable, and the location is great—just about a 20‑minute walk to the city centre with free parking right outside the hotel. The downside was that the bathroom was heated while the room stayed cold; at 4 °C outside you would want the heating turned on.

The rooms were large and spotless, the hotel sits close to the city, and public transport connections are excellent.

The hotel is easily reachable by traffic and walking to the city centre takes roughly 10 minutes. The hosts were very friendly, the place was clean and the room was very large, and there is a free parking spot directly at the hotel. Breakfast isn’t served on site, but the cafés in town offer good options. The building feels old‑fashioned, the reception area is dark, and the hosts’ attempts to modernise the ambience with a fresh paint job in the room didn’t convince us. The bathroom shows its age with several cosmetic flaws, and an unpleasant odour from a floor drain in the bathroom really tainted the stay. Regrettable.

It’s a good choice for road travellers thanks to ample free parking. The rooms are fairly spacious with a desk and chairs, and the price is quite reasonable for Lüneburg. The TV is huge. The single bed is only 90 cm wide, the light switch and outlet are right behind the pillows, and the rooms are noisy early in the morning because commuters head into the city. The shower is a shower‑in‑bathtub combo, there’s no breakfast on site, and the suggestion that the nearby Rewe has a bakery is subpar.
