“Insgesamt eher unzufrieden”

The central island location is convenient—everything’s a 5‑10 minute walk—and you can park a scooter right outside the door. However, when arriving by the last boat, the reception was empty and it took about 45 minutes for someone to bring us the key. The on‑site staff are friendly but don’t speak English, so we had to communicate with pictures. During our four‑day stay there was no room service, no fresh water, no toilet paper, and one of the pillows was so large that it left a crooked neck. The shower had no hot water, making evening showers uncomfortable.

We were in room 3, and a nearby tree’s branches kept rattling against the roof even with a light breeze, waking us every night—unpleasant. It’s a shame the pool is unused; it’s in a nice spot and would be a hit in the heat.

Sea Bear wasn’t particularly trendy or luxurious, but it met our needs well for the price. The location made it easy to explore the island, and the AC and Wi‑Fi let us work comfortably during the hottest part of the day. Nights were quiet, so we slept well; my girlfriend thought the bed was a bit soft, but I had no complaints. The place lacked a distinct vibe or charm. While the facilities were clean, there was a bathroom odor and occasional insects in the room. The staff weren’t very proactive or helpful, though they did their job. A mini fridge would have been handy.

The place was quiet, spotless, and the room, wardrobe, and bathroom were comfortable. Nearby restaurants were convenient, and the two shaded chairs on the terrace in the morning let us have breakfast (coffee was free). The only downside was that the pool was drained.

Everything was fine and clean, and the air conditioning worked well for the low price. The interior was very basic and minimalistic, though.
