The place was quiet, comfy, and the staff were friendly.

The rooms were clean, but the staff tried to control your movements; you had to hand over your key when leaving for the day, and no guests or friends were allowed unless they paid for a room, limiting occupancy to two in a standard room. Couples with a child needed a different room type and an extra mattress cost extra. Room service was not permitted, and the water pressure was so low you had to get wet and then dry off. The smart TV let you log into streaming services, yet the volume was preset and hard to adjust. It’s a fine option for a single night, but for a few days you’d be better off elsewhere. There were no first‑floor rooms, and, as expected, no elevator.

The reception was excellent; you could pick your pastries for breakfast right at the hotel’s foot. The managers were very welcoming and full of tips for a great stay!
