The property was beautiful and situated in a lovely neighborhood. I liked everything about the property.

The garden was a great spot for sitting, dining, and enjoying the outdoors, with a table that seats eight. It was lit in the evening and even had a small waterfall, creating a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The garden belongs to the main house, so you can chat with the owners or join their barbecue. Getting there is easy from the main roads, and most San Diego attractions are a 15‑20 minute drive away; the trolley station is about a 5‑minute taxi ride, and Uber works well. It’s close to University City. The kitchen was not suitable for cooking—there was no oven, no dishwasher, no washing machine, and only basic pans, pots, and blunt cutlery—so we had to borrow extra gear from friends to prepare a proper meal. The kitchen and bed shared the same room, which limited kitchen space to one person at a time. The equipment was outdated and would benefit from an overhaul. The barbecue in the garden was reserved for the landlords only. In short, if you plan to eat take‑out, the location is great; if you want to cook or BBQ yourself, you’ll likely be disappointed.

The garden was beautiful and the property lay in a quiet neighborhood. The water, supposedly filtered, tasted awful. The fridge made odd noises, and the bed was too soft for me.

The hosts were very friendly, and the little house looked beautiful. I couldn't think of any negatives.
