The Dragon Inn in Crickhowell offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, mountain and countryside views, and free parking. Each room is individually decorated with a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Located near the Brecon Way and Iron Age fort of Crug Hywel, it's a 30-minute drive to Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye, perfect for walkers and nature enthusiasts.

Everything was very satisfactory—I had dinner and then breakfast the next morning. The room was very quiet, and since I've stayed here before, I’ll return again. The mattress felt a bit soft for my taste.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and easy to locate. However, the accommodation at the rear of the pub had poor lighting, and the driveway to the car park was very tight—my husband had to guide me and tuck my wing mirrors in. The food was disappointing: a cold breakfast is included in the rate, but the selection of cereals and pastries was poor, and the hot breakfast was served on cold plates, just like the evening meal.
