The cottage was nicely furnished on a small riding farm, the host was very friendly, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedroom was small but cozy, and it was extremely quiet at night. The cottage sits behind the main buildings with no view and can only be reached by stairs, either from below or above; the car is not parked directly in front of the entrance, which didn’t bother us but might be a warning for less mobile guests. Next to it is a motorcycle track, a small racing course, and from about 5 p.m. on a Wednesday it got very loud until almost 8 p.m.; we were glad the noise stopped, though it may not happen every day. The dining table lacks lighting, making it too dark. In the bathroom the only place to store toothbrushes and creams is the sink edge, and there is only a fixed window that cannot be opened. The toilet’s placement is also a bit inconvenient, especially for larger or heavier people.
