A typical work‑hotel; the social atmosphere is good but a bit run‑down, the S‑bahn is very close so the whole city is easily reachable, yet the cleanliness is not hotel‑standard and there was no soap. The room is cramped, and the street‑side rooms get a bit noisy during the day. The TV in the room was functional, but the curtains were thin.

“Never go here !!!!!!!!!”

When we got there, we couldn’t even locate the hotel because the address led to a building with a different name; the taxi driver even warned us that the area had dangerous people, which made us feel uneasy right away. Inside, cigarette smoke and other foul odors filled the air, the place was filthy, and mold—especially black mold—was everywhere, which was alarming. We decided to leave and book somewhere else, but the staff refused to refund us even after we explained the situation and tried to cancel that same day. Their reply was basically, “Well, you saw what you booked,” which was utterly disappointing and made the property’s condition completely unacceptable.

“Velies vienkārši pārnakšņot Berlīnē. Ideāla vieta tam.”

The hotel is very cheap, but everything inside was tidy and clean. I can’t really complain, for the price you can’t find anything much better. It’s close to the S‑bahn station and overall has a lot of transport options. The staff who run the place are unenthusiastic and unhelpful, but the rooms are decent, without any extra frills.
