The place is in Waterlook city and close to the university. The room is a baseroom, so the humidity was very high, reaching 90%. I suggest the host turn on the dehumidifier before guests arrive; I don’t dare turn it on when I sleep because it’s just too noisy. Aside from the dampness and the lack of cups in the bathroom for brushing my teeth, everything else is fine.

Staying in the basement suite turned out to be a real plus – the temperature stayed exactly how I liked it. Having a private bathroom was a nice touch, and the hosts were on top of everything, from a solid breakfast to letting us use their kitchen for quick meals. All in all, a comfortable, low‑key spot that felt home‑y.

The room was surprisingly roomy, quiet and spotless – way bigger than the pictures had led me to expect. It was a pleasant, no‑fuss place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Nothing else to complain about.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. Check‑in and check‑out details were clear, and the location couldn’t be better – just steps from St Jacob’s market, antique shops, Walmart and a nearby conservation park. The neighborhood was calm and pleasant.
