The spot feels like a little slice of heaven – you’d never guess it’s only minutes from Salvador. There’s plenty of greenery and wildlife to spot, and waking up to birdsong with fresh air is a real treat. It’s also close to Vila de Praia do Forte if you want to head to the beach, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming.

This place totally blew my expectations out of the water. Tucked away but easy to find, it’s super comfy and perfect for unplugging from the city and soaking up nature. The animals are gentle, which makes it a unique experience for kids, and the hosts went out of their way to keep everything cozy. I’d definitely recommend it.
