The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of quality foods; it was very salty, while the sweets were a bit less so. The restaurant is great, with prices slightly above average but worth it for the quality and service. Nothing personal to note.

The location on Ounasvaara is lovely for hiking, and we slept quietly. The dinner, reindeer steak, was very fine, and the breakfast buffet is superb. We stayed in this hotel in 1979, and since then not much has changed—only the windows and heating were updated. The air‑conditioning is terrible, and our room was very small, smaller than the neighboring ones.

Breakfast was perfect, dinner very good but pricey; at night the room felt a bit hot and dry with no temperature control.

The property is beautiful, tucked into nature, ideal for unwinding, and we could see the northern lights from our windows; the Nordic breakfast was excellent.
