“One of my favourite stays in Vietnam a characterful hotel in beautiful, romantic Huế.”
I absolutely loved staying here. The hotel is full of character, roomy, spotless, and cozy, with warm and personal service. The spot was a real highlight for me—a lovely, green, and atmospheric part of Hue, surrounded by gardens, close to the canal, and easy to reach the Imperial City. The whole area feels deeply connected to Hue’s imperial history. The restaurant next door even offers a unique dish based on an old royal recipe. With the gardens, traditional vibe, and proximity to the Imperial City, it seemed as if this area had once belonged to the larger palace complex. The owner was incredibly helpful. The booking details said Visa was accepted, but when I got there I was told I had to pay in cash. The owner personally escorted me to an ATM; when the first one failed, he patiently took me to another so I could withdraw money and settle my bill. I really appreciated his effort and hospitality. This didn’t tarnish my view of the hotel or the owner, who handled the situation superbly, but the payment info should be accurate and clear before arrival.
