The spot is superb; from our balcony we watched the sunset over Braga. The décor is old‑fashioned yet meticulously maintained and full of character, and the breakfast offered a good variety. The bathtub was inconvenient, with the faucet only on the top, and the pastries served at breakfast were industrial.

The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent, with stunning views and the Bom Jesus just next door. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. However, we were taken aback by the poor condition and equipment of the room, which felt far below four‑star standards, and the soundproofing was inadequate.
