The location is excellent, right on the beach, and the receptionist is the friendliest you could find. They were happy to help with everything from scooter hire to transfers to general advice on the best places to eat and visit on the island. The only downside was the shower, which was a little bit dodgy, but on holiday it doesn't really matter.

You can walk straight from the room onto a sandy beachfront garden with hammocks and deck chairs—great place to relax. The bedding could be more neutral and in line with the decor.

A nice spot to chill, though the beach isn't for swimming and stays dry most of the day. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and the location is great for moving around the island. There are a lot of friendly beach dogs—if you don't like dogs, don't stay here. The floors are very slippery, the walls are super thin, and you can't avoid sand because you're literally sleeping on the beach.

The location is central, but the staff were absent, there were many cockroaches in the rooms, and aggressive stray dogs were outside the blocks, so we left late at night feeling uncomfortable.

The kettle, the view, and the direct beach access were great, as were the nearby amenities and the room and bathroom size, but cockroaches would climb onto you at night (luckily the geckos chased them away), the shower water was either too cold or too hot, and the noise from the neighboring room, dogs, roosters, and bar music was annoying.
