The location was great and the hotel was clean and comfortable, though it’s older; check‑in didn’t open until 4 pm, and the walls were so thin that I could hear everything above and next to me, making it hard to sleep.

The first room had a strong cigarette odor even though it was marked non‑smoking, and the next room was a connecting one where we could hear people talking in the hallway. The room only had a bathtub instead of a walk‑in shower, which was unsafe for my wife because of her age. The place felt dirty, and they let pets stay in every room without shampooing the carpet between stays.

The hotel fell short of the standard we usually get at Hampton Inn. The location was fine, but the building’s appearance was disappointing; it seemed like the worst‑looking hotel we’ve stayed in.

The property was very clean and the staff were excellent, but the rates were too high for what was offered.
