“It's a acceptable hotel in the middle of Nebraska that probably few travelers.”
It felt like staying at grandma’s for an evening—clean and comfortable but slightly dated. The only drawback was that the hired help who checked me in personally seemed a bit annoyed about the task.
“I've stayed here often, and will keep doing so.”
Wi‑Fi worked fine. The bed was comfortable with a firm mattress and pillows that were neither too bulky nor too thin. Temperature control handled a hot August day well. Staff were pleasant and helpful both evenings and the next morning. The room had good lighting for reading and desk work. Hot water arrived quickly in the shower with ample flow. The only downside was the lack of in‑room coffee; coffee was available in the lobby in the morning but not at all times. Also, the key‑card machine was broken, so we had to ask the desk clerk to let us into our rooms—just bad luck, as everything has worked fine on previous visits.
“A Disappointing Experience Due to Overbooking and Miscommunication”
I recently had a frustrating experience with a hotel that was supposed to have rooms available, but unfortunately, they were fully booked due to the hunting season. To make matters worse, the booking platform I used initially showed that there were four rooms available, which turned out to be incorrect. As a result, I had to find alternative accommodation 65 miles away, and I'm still waiting for a credit refund.
“Staff were exceptionally great, friendly and engaged with guests.”
Property was well kept. Room smelled a bit musty by end of our stay but it was a high humidity time in Nebraska. They took care of our request to have rooms close to each other and on the first floor. A/C was fantastic after a long hot Nebraska day. Lobby area was great for playing cards and games in the evening and front lawn was great for dart throwing bullseye game!. Continental breakfast was a good effort but not much to be desired
“I would not recommend staying here.”
The building feels old and poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper and dirty, hard beds; it sits right next to the railroad tracks, so train noise is audible all night.
