The hotel sits very close to Leeds Station and the city centre, the room was quiet and comfortable with ample storage, and the breakfast was very good. The lighting over the bed is odd, shining across one side instead of focusing on it, and the desk area is poorly lit; more hooks would have helped both in the room and the bathroom.

Great location, good value for money, lovely staff, comfortable bed. This room was a little bit scruffy, stains on the carpet and the fridge shelf wasn’t clean, we always take the shelves out anyway so not a huge issue No water in the room this time

The spot’s location is solid, and the front desk folks were friendly. However, only one of the three elevators was operational, and the second one only got repaired after a couple of days, which turned the whole lift ordeal into a nightmare. Waiting 15–20 minutes for a lift, then having it stop on every floor while going up and down added another 15 minutes, and the cleaners used the same lift, stopping on each floor as well. I’ve stayed here several times before and never saw this. For those of us with anxiety, it was unbearable, especially when people crowded and pushed in because they didn’t want to wait longer. The lift experience made me decide not to stay here again. It was pricey and I didn’t feel I got value for money. I also told them I didn’t want housekeeping, yet one day I walked in to find someone had cleaned the room.

The location near the station in the city centre is great, staff are friendly and helpful, and they sell ice‑cream and snacks at reception; the bed was very comfortable. However, the lift was very slow and took ages to reach the ground floor, and although I booked a superior room, it ended up feeling like a standard no‑frills room.
