Breakfast was fine, and the service was totally friendly. Nothing else comes to mind.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered good value and an option for more if needed (but that was more than enough). The room was large, very warm, but had no fly screens; fans were provided instead. The balcony on the room and the terrace below were nice for breakfast. The shower was small, which is a bit cramped if you’re used to larger showers, but overall the bathroom was very clean. The room itself was clean and the whole house looked well‑maintained. Getting to Freiburg centre by train is quick and hassle‑free, and there are plenty of nearby dining options. Everything was pleasant. The only downside was the tiny pre‑packaged shampoos and shower gels, which feel outdated and are very drying for skin and scalp, so they should be replaced.
The hotel is ideal if you’re traveling by car, just 10 minutes from downtown Freiburg. The room is great, very spacious, with a perfect bathroom and a very comfortable bed, plus a huge TV. The breakfast buffet is exquisite and plentiful. What we loved most was meeting the owners, Marcus and his wife Jose; they were wonderful hosts, attentive to all our questions and gave excellent advice on what to see and do in the area.
Everything was very pleasing to us.

Nice, clean hotel on the road trip. The owner was very friendly and let us in right away when we arrived early. The shower is wonderful. The beds are comfortable. We could park our bicycles in the private area outside the front door. It’s a pleasant bike ride to Freiburg via green paths and neighborhoods with many beautiful, old trees.
