Located in the charming village of Petrčane, Hotel Pinija is nestled among fragrant pine woods and features a pebbly-rocky beach protected from winds and high waves. The hotel offers a seasonal indoor and outdoor pool, air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen satellite TVs, and private bathrooms with baths or showers. It's 12 km from Zadar's historic center and 5 km from Nin.

The accommodation is well‑located, featuring a beautiful, expansive stone beach. In the off‑season it’s very peaceful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, though the eggs tend to be oddly sweet. Rooms are very clean with daily housekeeping. The sauna is spotless. The spa area isn’t spectacular – just an indoor pool and a small kids’ pool. The whirlpool was either unavailable or fully booked, and the tiles in the spa were extremely slippery, especially with the slippers provided by the hotel.

The location was great, and the only issue was the missing towels on the beach loungers, which was no big deal.
