“Katastrophal”
The house and grounds were nice with a good view. When we arrived after a long trip, we waited two hours at the locked gate. We were told we had ignored a deposit request; the email with the link didn’t open, so that wasn’t clear. Inside, we wanted to use the pool but it was so dirty and the water cloudy that we couldn’t. The nearby sun loungers were broken and dirty, with old dental floss sticks on a pedestal and bottle caps on the lawn. The house had a broken toilet seat. Rats kept darting past us, and we cancelled immediately.
“Very good stay but avoid if over 35 degrees celcius”
The pool was nice and the view of St Paul de Vence was great. The BBQ area was good, the architecture was very romantic and rustic, and the internet connection was stable. There was no AC, but fans were available. The place was hard to locate.
