“Beautiful location - some guest control needed.”

The location and views were wonderful, the gardens delightful, the pool a good size, and the bedroom large. The food quality at both dinner and breakfast could improve. A loud, large group dining in the courtyard in the evening caused noise that seeped into the rooms, which should have been stopped. The same group had noisy young children who took over the pool and were again very disruptive; guest control is essential in a place meant to be relaxing for adults.

I couldn’t think of anything better; everything was amazing, even though we were only there for a day, we’ll come back. The staff’s treatment, the food, and the stay were unbeatable.

Everything was perfect here: great location, lovely pool, friendly staff, good restaurant, tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, nicely decorated rooms, and nice bath products. Nothing was wrong.

The location, stunning views, greenery, pool, and tranquility are ideal for disconnecting from daily stress. Two disappointing points: first, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant, we were forced to eat outside because dogs are not allowed inside (they gave us blankets because it was cool and windy), and we could either leave our small dog alone in the room, which we refused, or not dine at all, so we ate as quickly as possible; for a €65 meal that was a bit inconvenient. Second, the next day at checkout at noon (we arrived at 17:30 the previous day) we asked to spend some time by the pool and the receptionist replied, “okay but not long because we have a wedding.” Having worked in a 4‑star hotel myself, I’ve never seen that; it’s common to provide a room for luggage and let guests stay in the common areas until departure, even to shower. It was unpleasant and I won’t return. Too bad.
