The vibe, the quiet, the intimate feel of the accommodation, and the very pleasant owner.

First, we could barely open the door because the lock was broken. A mouldy smell on entry hinted something was wrong. We arrived at 10 pm after a 12‑hour journey, exhausted, and just went to bed. The next morning, there was no decent light, only colourful LED strips. The bathroom tap was broken, and when opening a small door opposite the shower, cables hung loose from the ceiling and there was plenty of mould. Breakfast consisted of a plastic‑wrapped roll, two small cakes, and some jam. We knew there was no Wi‑Fi beforehand, but there was also no reception—no phone calls or Internet at all. We went out and booked elsewhere for the rest of the week. The owner refused to refund anything, not even part of the amount.

The décor was gorgeous, everything was spotless and the temperature control was spot on. The extra breakfast had a couple of terrible buns, the room lacked normal lighting and felt pretty dark, and there was no mobile coverage.
