“Puente de Octubre”
The location is good; the village is close to routes and places to visit. We also took a guided tour of the town that is worth it. The cleanliness was lacking.

The place was quiet.

The bed quality was good, the instructions to access the accommodation even when arriving very late were clear, and the overall view from the room was nice. However, the rooms with a double bed were only intended for two people and only had one towel; the Booking site claimed toiletries were provided, but there was nothing, not even soap for hand washing. There was no fruit juice or welcome cake for breakfast. The shower on the second floor was dirty, with hair and lint. I was disappointed given the price.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable for two, and having a bathroom on each floor is super useful if you travel with elderly people so they don’t have to climb stairs each time they need to go. Both Alberto (the owner) and Lorenza, the lady who welcomed us, are wonderful—super friendly and charming. They accommodated our check‑in and check‑out times and gave us tips for visiting the area. There isn’t much space to spend time with family. The area where the fire pit is would be great for sitting on a comfy sofa with everyone, but it’s underutilized. The only place to gather together is the kitchen/living room, so you can’t have multiple activities at once because there’s only one table in the house.

The staff were charming, the house was clean, spacious and well equipped, and the area was quiet. The heating relied on a wood stove, which made it very comfortable and worked great. The issue was that when the wood ran out at night, the radiators would stay off until you relit the fire.
