All the extra plates and silverware were great, and the grill was nice; however, the lake was not what we expected because it has been a dry summer.

We loved our stay at The Lodges at Eden Reserve. The safari tent setup is beautiful, comfortable, and offers a unique glamping experience in a peaceful setting. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we truly enjoyed the experience. The only important thing to note is that there is a nearby helipad for medical emergencies, and if a helicopter is called during the night, the noise can be extremely loud; unfortunately, one took off around 1:00 AM and returned at 3:30 AM, which significantly disrupted our sleep

The glamper tent felt rustic and unique, and having AC was a bonus; the microwave, small stove, and AC—no TV—made us actually spend time together. The uneven trek to the bathhouse at night was a downside, with a large pothole on the poorly lit path; we improvised by pairing up and using flashlights.

The place was clean, the bed super comfy, and we had disposable kitchen utensils that saved our meals ordered on site. We managed an early check‑in after a 10‑hour drive that arrived earlier than expected, and the communal bathrooms were clean at any hour of the day. The bed was super comfy, the setting beautiful and different—an incredible experience!

Since everything was self‑serve, I didn’t rate the staff; we never saw them. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available in every bathroom, which saved us when we forgot ours. A town was nearby for a store run, but I wish the website had mentioned there was no camp store, as we only found out later and had to rush to get milk the next morning.
