Everything was fine: regular room cleaning, very good breakfast, overall pleasant atmosphere, and simple online check‑out and payment. No criticism of the dam shop, just a general note that there is no ATM in town and that some restaurants and shops in the Zittauer Mountains only accept cash—so bring a bit of cash.

We landed in a spot that felt genuinely local, though no one spoke English when we got there, but we got by. The breakfast was nice, the rooms were cozy, and nothing else stood out.

Frühstück war reichhaltig, und die kleinen Gläschen mit frischen Brotaufstrichen waren sehr lecker; viel Gemüse, Obstsalat und mehr – alles top. Unser Zimmer war funktional, groß genug, modern ausgestattet, das Bad ebenso modern; wir haben dort auch unser Abendbrot gegessen, das war alles sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung oder für Tagesausflüge zu Fuß nach Oybin und mit der Schmalspurbahn zurück – die Ermäßigungen und freien Eintritte der Gästekurkarte sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Nichts zu beanstanden… wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
