“Ein ganz besonderer Ort mit familiärer Atmosphäre – wir kommen gerne wieder!”

We had a perfect stay and felt comfortable from the first minute! We were there in early September during the low season, so it wasn’t very busy, which actually created a very family‑like and relaxed vibe. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating, showing a well‑coordinated team that gets along great. That special mood really added to the overall atmosphere. Because it was quiet, we even got to play a few rounds of a typical Sri Lankan board game with the staff, which was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace. We also had many interesting conversations and even met the owner of the surf camp—a genuinely friendly and cool guy who built the camp from his own family house and now runs it with his German girlfriend, who manages the restaurant. You can feel the passion he puts into the place. The rooms also impressed us: they were super clean, nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept wonderfully. The garden is beautifully laid out and invites you to relax and chill in its calm setting. We especially loved the private access to the sea with the small sandy beach, where you can unwind and enjoy stunning sunsets. The highlight for us was definitely the food: the menu offers a great selection of vegetarian brunch and dinner options, and we actually ate through the entire menu once. Everything was incredibly tasty and beautifully presented.

“Regentada por 🐕❤️”

We had an amazing stay; the decor is tasteful and every corner feels special. The room was spacious, comfortable, had air‑conditioning, and the outdoor bathroom was definitely a highlight. The property boasts a huge, beautiful garden with common areas, hammocks, and plenty of grass for sun‑bathing, plus direct beach access that makes the setting even more unique. We didn’t feel we were in the best season for the beach, but we’re sure it’s spectacular in peak season. Breakfast there was a great choice—delicious, varied, and set in a fantastic atmosphere. It’s more than a typical hotel; it’s a house with multiple rooms and shared spaces, and that’s part of its charm. It feels very cozy, well‑maintained, and full of personality. A special shout‑out to the seven resident dogs that made me love the place even more ❤️ The area isn’t very touristy, which added to its appeal, and it’s relatively close to Mirissa, the nearest tourist hub with more restaurants, vibe, and activities. The staff were all super friendly, attentive, and delightful, making us feel at home. A beautiful, quiet, and charming spot—definitely a place I’d return to.

“Very cozy and comfortable stay right at matara beach”

The rooms are very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was very cute with an actual open roof, so it was quite adventurous during the rainy season but I loved it. The staff were very helpful and prompt. The food served was very tasty and healthy. The property is right on the beachfront, so you can walk to it in 10 steps from the room.

“Traumhafte Anlage mit leckerem Essen”

The accommodation is simply a dream. The venue has such a calm vibe, the team is unbelievably nice, the café food is the best I’ve ever had, and the yoga session was incredibly beneficial. This was one of the best places on my trip. Absolutely a heartfelt recommendation!
