“Overpriced”

The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds comfortable, but the price felt too high for what was offered, the staff didn't come across as friendly, and the place overall seemed pretentious and not worth the cost.

“Awful”

We had to switch rooms because of ants; the new room had dead bugs by the window and it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

I was quoted a price that was far too high, but I was exhausted and had just learned that the place I originally planned to stay had no rooms left (all this on the road). I ended up calling from the road, and because I travel with two small dogs in crates, I had to explain that from the start. When I arrived, I was told there were no pet rooms, so I was about to leave and sleep in my car, but they offered another room for an extra pet fee. I clarified that I had two dogs, not just one, and they were upset because of the second dog, charging me extra. They were jerks about it and acted like they were punishing me for doing something wrong, which I didn’t appreciate. I don’t think that was a huge deal, but their attitude was off. I’ll never stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites again. My fault for not planning every detail ahead of time; the rest of my trip is mostly Airbnb.

“Great convenient location for our needs.”

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a motel, especially the green chili, and the brewed coffee was a highlight.
