We had a lovely stay. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The dog‑friendly room was large and comfortable with a dog bed and bowl provided. The food was excellent and all the staff were friendly and efficient. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the food and drinks were superb, and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. I found nothing to complain about – it’s a hidden gem, absolutely perfect!

The rooms were very comfortable with lovely beds, the bar had a great atmosphere, and the food—especially breakfast—was good. The staff were pleasant and the location beautiful; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

Choosing 'Not dog friendly' rooms was a great option for allergy sufferers. The bar had a buzz—it’s obviously popular and a lovely place to socialise. Evening meal was good. Breakfast was fantastic. Hadrian's Wall was a very short drive away.
