We were on a motorbike trip from NSW to Vic, and the location worked as an overnight rest stop; the pub across the road was good and the dinner was fine. A petrol station 80 m away and a café next door were convenient, though the café didn’t open until later. Parking off the street was good. The hotel didn’t look as well maintained as it could have been, seemed to have no permanent on‑site staff, one of our towels was damp (hadn’t been dried enough), the gardens were overgrown with weeds, and overall it felt a little run down.
