I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe of the place, a bit out of time: rustic, ethnic, with a zen feel.

They gave me a warm welcome. The bedroom was comfy and clean, and there was a lounge or kitchen area to sit in. Tea and coffee facilities were available. A fridge stocked with cold drinks to buy on arrival was a welcome touch. Breakfast was ample. I’d stay again. Thanks.

The hosts were very responsive and friendly, the room décor was nice, and there was a secure spot to lock a bike. The breakfast was generous and tasty.

We managed to get there quickly after booking, but the bed was awful for two people—narrow, short, and wobbly. We had booked two separate beds, yet there were none. The shower and toilet were old and only 1 m². Breakfast was scanty. The house is historic but also neglected and old.
