The 24‑hour check‑in was convenient. Some rooms look a little dated, and I ended up in one of those.

The spot is convenient, the air‑con and bed are comfortable, and I loved the separate shower, toilet and sink – very practical. The hallway’s colour scheme feels a bit cluttered, and some art in the room seemed pointless and just took up space.

The room was fairly spacious, the TV and air‑conditioning worked, parking was comfortable, and the breakfast, which wasn’t included, could be had at a great pastry shop attached to the hotel. The room itself feels dated and definitely needs a refresh, just like the newer rooms I saw on the website; I happened to get one that still required renovation.

The building’s cleanliness was good. It’s a shame that some basics for a long stay were missing, like a lockable safe in the room, and the bar’s huge display for breakfast turned out to be a disappointment when you reach the counter and find staff who aren’t very friendly, almost as if you’re bothering them.
