“Overall disappointing. From what I’d seen online I expected more. 3 stars at most.”
The room was comfy and the staff were friendly, but it didn’t live up to my 4‑star expectations and the food photos online didn’t match what was actually served.
The rooms are great for the price, the location is brilliant, and the breakfast is good.

I loved how modern, clean, and comfortable the hotel is, and everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful; the location right next to the theme park is perfect for families, and the breakfast selection and quality are excellent. Walking around the lake is nice, just watch out for the geese that can get a bit angry. The burger at the theme restaurant next door was fabulous, and the self‑serve salad and dips were great; the ice‑cream bar for desserts was a hit, and I enjoyed the 2p machines that let me relive my youth. Overall, a great two‑night stay that I’d definitely repeat, and it feels like a little oasis of holiday relaxation close to the motorway network. The only downside was that the TV in the bar wasn’t on, and the one next door was too loud for watching football; my husband preferred the lively atmosphere with others, so that wasn’t a problem for me. The bar calmed down after 8 pm, so we headed to the arcade, which I loved.
