“The B&B was correct but you can tell that it’s run as a business rather than the hosts comfort”
The place was in a great spot and the staff were friendly and welcoming; the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the essentials, and breakfast was fine, but the B&B had an odd smell (not sticky but weird); the rooms and shared areas seemed poorly maintained – paint was peeling, the shower head was broken, and the air‑con dripped water; although overall clean, wall and curtain stains left a bad impression, and the décor felt cheap with fake small cacti that had price tags on them and tacky paintings, so I was surprised it had such a high score on Booking.

I landed in the middle of the villa and the location was spot on, but the B&B is on the third floor with no elevator, which caught me off guard. The room next to the kitchen was noisy in the mornings.

Goede ligging Ruime kamer Oke ontbijt. GEEN luchthavenservice vragen bij hun! De chauffeur is nooit afgekomen en moesten het zelf oplossen midden van de nacht. Onafgewerkte kamer, overal komt verf van de muur Handdoeken waren nog plekken op Heel lege kamer Veel lawaai van buiten 3de verdieping zonder lift
“Home in the center of the City”
The location is great, but having to walk up the stairs every day is a downside.

Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the spot is right in the city center close to the main attractions. From the terrace you can see the monument and even Mount Etna :) Restaurants and cafés are so close you just step out through the building’s gate.
